Grand Knight Denis Galway presented a cheque to Fr. Jeff Kolonel for $ 9,000.00 during St. Kevin’s Council’s monthly meeting on May 21st. These proceeds were from the Knights of Columbus weekly bingo event.
St. Kevin’s Council hosted a card party on June 2nd for the St. Kevin’s food bank and Knights of Columbus programs raising $ 7,000.00.

5902 Preparing for Cemetery Mass
State Life Director/ Msgr. McCarthy Council Chancellor Gene Hurley doing a little maintenance and placing flowers at the Monument for the Unborn at St. Patrick’s cemetery, Carbonear.
Members and friends of Msgr. McCarthy Council prepared and served up a special community breakfast on Carbonear Day. Our chaplain, Father Anthony, and Father Magnus offered the grace before the meal. Proceeds were donated to the Carbonear Volunteer Fire Dept.
The Tri-Con Gentle Giants held their Awards Ceremony at the Knights of Columbus building in Carbonear, August, 2025. Monsignor McCarty Council was thanked for its monthly support and generosity to the special Olympians with a certificate of Appreciation.

Msgr. McCarthy Council 5902 continues to support Volunteer Firefighters who are staying in this area with accommodations and meals at Camp McCarthy. We are grateful to welcome firefighters from places like Lab City, Gambo, Northern Arm, Lewisporte, Grand Falls-Windsor, Deer Lake, Gander, New-Wes-Valley, and more, as they help with the CBN Wildfire, 2025.

Ville Marie Council 10599, Marystown, recently made a cheque presentation to Nora Gaulton of the Helping Hands Food Bank. The cheque covered $155 collected during the Marystown Kinsen/Town of Marystown Santa Claus Parade and $400 received from Supreme Council under the Food for Families refund program.

It was for a mini split for Bob . Bob was diagnosed with cancer a while ago Bobs main Source of heat was wood due to his illness he is not able to provide wood . So now he can have the comfort of a mini split . Thanks once again everyone for you support . Just a little over $5000 was raised not counting his personal donations.
Our Lady of Perpetual Fourth Degree Assembly in Stephenville braved the wind and the cold to officially raise the Canadian Flag on National Flag Day, February 15 2024.
Dalton Assembly 1645 in Harbour Grace commemorated Canadian Flag Day (February 15) with Mass at St. Joseph's Church, Father Emmanuel as celebrant. Faithful Navigator Eugene Hurley read a Flag Day Proclamation before Mass. The Fourth Degree Color Corp provided the Honor Guard, Flags were distributed, the congregation sang O Canada, and following Mass, Cake and refreshments were served. Three State Officers, including State Deputy Gary Gallagher were in attendance.

Started our series of COR faith development gatherings during Lent at The Most Holy Redeemer Cathedral in Corner Brook. Our first gathering was related to praying the new
way of the Rosary and discussions .
There were 16 Brother Knights at our first gathering and another gathering next Saturday, March 2 at 10:00 am. We were very fortunate to have with us:

Father Terry and Father Lainey certainly put together a very successful first gathering with three more gatherings in March.
Monsignor E.J. O'Brien Assembly #1600, Labrador City, held their annual Regional Speak-Off on Monday, February 26, 2024, with 11 students from Menihek High School competing.
