Newfoundland & Labrador Relic Tour
Blessed Father Michael McGivney’s Relic Tour concluding remarks.
To all our wonderful priests and religious throughout the province. Thank you for the welcome of Blessed Father Michael McGivney’s relic in our faith communities. Thank you all the District Deputies, Grand Knights and Knights province wide. To all the fourth degree assemblies as well. Your welcome and veneration of the relic was exceptionally conducted. You remain evangelizers, you promoted our Catholic Christian faith.
Brother Brian Caufield, to whom a debt of gratitude is owed. Your assistance in allowing us to obtain the relic for this long period of time permitted us to do many wonderful things. Thank you for you cooperation and vision. It is our hope that the relic will continue to tour jurisdictions throughout North America and the world.
Brother Michael Fagan, who created the Blessed Father Micheal McGivney hymn which has become a fixture in our events. Michael, it
truly is a one of a kind. To our knowledge, the only hymn written about blessed Father Michael and it incorporates the elements of his call to service of our Lord and his dedication to the faith. For service to the orphan, widowed and poor. Well done sir, well done.!! It will have continuous use as the K of C moves forward.
Thanks to St Bonaventure’s College Music Department Mrs. Etchegary, Mrs. Quinn for conducting – the wonderful St Bonaventure’s College Band for today’s music . Thank you Maxim Mekhanik
Thanks as well to the Basilica Musicians Patty Fowler, Jacinta Mackay, Graham Fagan, Michael Fagan and Dominic Greene

The State Executive themselves and your vision in our tour’s promotion and to each executive member for your assistance at its various stages. As Knights, there is no problem insurmountable to us, which goes to show, when the knights work together, we are unstoppable.
Please forgive if there are any other persons missed.

I conclude with a request to all members, to pray for a blessing from Blessed Father Michael McGivney, for our faith communities, who never
